Open warfare has broken out on the main continent of Jenys-S II!

The Eldar revealed their presence in the northeastern badlands and southeastern marshlands, quickly overrunning PDF forces at the sky shield defense platform.
Their leader, Exarch Jade, suddenly ordered a strike on the eastern starport and Eaden Hive.
Led by Viper and Jetbike Squadrons, the cunning xenos then staged simultaneous raids on the eastern starport and Eaden Hive.
Local Planetary Defense Forces (PDF) in charge of defending these zones quickly abandoned their posts and tens of thousands of helpless inhabitants were decimated by the Eldar`s sophisticated weaponry (almost like target practice!).
Refugees began fleeing into the underhive only to encounter another, more savage xeno menace ? the Tyranids!
An unidentified strain of the beasts that had been lurking undetected in the cracks and recesses of the planet emerged to gorge themselves on human flesh.
Most of the human survivors of the Eldar attacks were hacked apart and consumed by the Great Devourer.
Even the Eldar were not prepared for this surprise attack and were quickly overwhelmed in the middle layers of the hive city.
Dozens of Aspect Warriors and Guardians were outflanked by stalking Genestealers and ripped apart as easily as the human residents of Eaden Hive.
Exarch Jade hastily made the order to retreat.
With plenty of biomass consumed, the Tyranids started to create digestion pools to replace their losses.
With more space to operate in the eastern starport, the Eldar managed to outmaneuver the crawling Tyranids.
Concentrated fire from War Walkers, Falcons and Fire Prisms caused the Tyranid forces to withdraw from the starport into the sewers, underground caverns, and surrounding badlands.
With the human occupants having fled or been slaughtered, Exarch Jade listened to the advice of Farseer Balbor, and ordered his forces to set up their base of operations in the starport.
The two ancient warriors then speculated on how the Tyranids could have arrived on Jenys-S II.
After listening to reports from Pathfinder squads and learning that the Tyranids somehow coordinated attacks all over the continent, including in several of the mon-keigh factories, Jade and Balbor concluded that a new genus must be leading them.
Perhaps it was another evolutionary adaptation.
But, perhaps the Eldar could use the Tyranid presence to their advantagecif the Eldar forces can somehow lure the alien beasts into areas where human and chaos forces were gatheringc Meanwhile,

Judass the Arch-Slayer, Chaos Lord of the Alpha Legion, thought he had made a perfect plan for infiltrating every part of Jenys-S II and locating the missing Adept Biad-dur.
With three unexpected twists of fate, his perfect plan fell apart.
First, the presence of the Eldar was revealed in the eastern region ? gThat`s never a good signh, thought Judass.
Second, his chief agent ? the planetary governor ? was assassinated by a particularly observant Commissar Lord stationed with the Harkonian regiments.
This Lord Commissar Krauser would be dealt with later ? Judass vowed to slay this puny, insignificant being himself.
Third, the Chaos Gods themselves, now aware of his plan, were sending the true minions of Chaos ? Daemons - to stop him.
gThe time for secrecy is overh, thought the Chaos Lord.
Judass ordered his new chief agent, Supreme Commander Orlando of the Jenys-S II PDF, to attack any outsiders that might try to interfere in the Chaos Lord`s plan.
But they were also ordered not to attack the Harkonian regiments stationed on the planet.
The Alpha Legion commander then mobilized his forces to try and stop warp gates from opening in the hive city, Pahradiess, and the coastal starport.
The ensuing battle was hard-fought and both sides sustained heavy losses.
Flamers of Tzeentch appeared from out of nowhere and incinerated whole squads of Alpha Legion warriors before being gunned down by return bolter fire.
Bloodletters and Fleshhounds of Khorne rampaged through the starport, slaying human workers and Chaos Marines alike.
Judass knew that if the warp gates were permanently opened, Jenys-S II would become a daemon world and he`d have to abandon his grand plan of capturing Adept Biad-dur and the Life Generator.
Using magics from his Lieutenant Sorcerers, Judass was able to identify the warp gate guardian of Eaden Hive, a massive Daemon Prince of Tzeentch.
Using more magic, the Chaos Lord was able to summon lesser daemons of his own and assault the mighty Daemon Prince.
With daemon axes, plasma blasts and blows from his power fist, Judass was somehow able to defeat the towering behemoth and banish it back to the warp.
Without the warp gate guardian, the warp gate in Pahradiess Hive soon closed and Judass ordered the rest of the hive to be taken.
Injured by a mighty Great Unclean One of Nurgle during the battle and not wanting to suffer more casualties, Judass ordered the Alpha Legion to regroup and the resident PDF forces to systematically clear out the hive, forcing out hundreds of thousands of refugees and executing dissenters among the human population.
Conversely, the Alpha Legionnaires were repulsed from the coastal starport by rampaging Daemon forces.
But with fewer human residents to slaughter in the starport and feed the bloodlusts of the Chaos Gods, the warp gate could be unstable.
Unwilling to sacrifice more of his troops before the true battle with the forces of the Imperium, Judass decided to abandon the starport and move on to the next phase of his plan.
In seemingly random places across the surface of Jenys-S II, more warp gates began to open with terrifying and ferocious daemons pouring out of each onec

gUnannounced, but not an assaulth that`s the kind of approach Captain Pauro Sandros imagined when he planned his landing on Jenys-S II.
Instead, he landed in the middle of a trap set by Supreme Commander Orlando of the PDF forces.
gJenys-S Firstbornh as they are known, are the Planetary Defense Force (PDF).
They have a long and proud history and, of course, they know the terrain on Jenys-S better than anyone.
Within seconds of touching down on the planet`s surface, Pauro`s Imperial Fists were overwhelmed by a major onslaught from the Jenys-S Firstborn.
Several battle brothers and even a dreadnought were lost to the salvos of missile and laser fire.
With no choice, Captain Sandros ordered a retreat into the ruined city outside of Modesty Hive.
Librarian Stahn sensed the aura of Chaos during the battle with the PDF, confirming what Captain Sandros had long suspected: these Jenys-S Firstborn were now slaves of the ruinous powers.

Scout forces reported that separate Harkonian regiments were also closing in on the Imperial Fists.
gTime for payback!h thought Captain Sandros.
The stubborn commander ordered an Imperial Fist strike on the much larger Harkonian force gathering outside the ruins.
Again, losses were heavy on both sides.
The captain and his trusted battle brother Sergeant Salazar, were determined to find the leader of these Harkonian forces and bring the traitor to his knees.
The pair slaughtered more than 50 Harkonian Guardsmen in one assault on an abandoned hab complex.
After watching Sergeant Salazar collapse under the weight of a dozen Guardsmen, the Captain made a final push to the roof of the complex; his armor slick and red with Guardsmen blood.
On the roof, he was finally surrounded by Imperial Strom Troopers and hovering Valkerie carriers.
Reluctantly, Captain Sandros surrenderedc However, there was no interrogation of the prisoner.
On arrival, Lord Commissar Krauser immediately realized these Astartes were not the dreaded Alpha Legion.
Both sides were forced into an awkward position: Captain Sandros was forced to reveal his true mission of investigating the Harkonian and PDF forces and Krauser knew his men were tricked into fighting the wrong enemy.
But both sides were being lead aged veterans in an eternal war, so both the Lord Commissar and the Astartes Captain understood that gfriendly fireh happens, and there was no need to apologize.
Further appraisals of the current situation revealed that war had erupted all over on Jenys-S II.
Lord Commissar Krauser and the Captain Sandros began to devise a new strategy.

The mission was no longer as simple as finding Adept Biad-dur.

Now, the forces of the Imperium had to work together to defeat the devious Alpha Legion and their Jenys-S Firstborn PDF allies.
As the two command centers merged to discuss the next course of action, more reports came in.
Eldar forces had been spotted.
Eaden Hive had fallen to some kind of horrible alien attackers.
And even reports of insidious Daemons butchering everyone in the northern coastal starport were reported.

The War for Jenys-S II had just begunc
