Galrauch, First of the Chaos Dragons by Daniel

ダニエルさんのコメント This is one of my favorite GW models actually. I have always wanted to paint it and when I decided to make a Trolls of Chaos army, I knew Galrauch would be my number one general. I also painted him very brightly and my favorite little touch is the gold scales (you can see them if you look closely). It was one of the most difficult models to assemble - I had to use several pins and a lot of green stuff. I went with the longer GW chariot base since the model is very long and heavy. Another reason why I picked Galrauch wasb because I wanted to keep the "no control" theme of the army; Galrauch needs an Ld test every turn to avoid attacking himself (and all my Trolls need stupidity tests)! When I`m able to control Galrauch (and when he doesn`t die on the first turn due to an Empire cannonball), he can cause a lot of mayhem. He flies, causes terror, has a lot of attacks, AND...gives me another chance to say "Infernal Gateway" with my daemon-voice. But so far, Galrauch hasn`t sent anyone to the Realm of Chaos. Pshhh! Rmanのコメント ガルラークきましたね〜！このモデルが発売されてからもうかなりの年月が経ってると思うのですが、 あんまり作ってる人が居ないのか・・・どうか知りませんが、僕が初めて見た完成品がこのダニエルさんのものでした。 正直このモデルが発表された時には 「なんかごちゃごちゃして凄いのは分かるけど、結局の所これ、格好良くないんじゃね？」 と思ってしまったのですが、実物はヤバイですね〜（笑）。造形の凄さはもちろん、想像以上にデカい！非常に迫力がありました。 チャリオットベースに乗ってるのも違和感が無い大きさですよね〜。 翼が若干小さいことを除けば、ハイエルフのスタードラゴン並に立派な躯体をしてると思います。 翼はこれまた歪みの造形が凄いことになってるので、小ささを意識させない存在感がありますし。 思わずコレクション用としてではなく、塗って使う用に自分の分が欲しくなりました。 ダニエルさんのペイントもアーミーのテーマカラーであるライトブルーを全面に押し出しつつ、 ジェネラルに相応しい派手さも感じさせられる仕上がりです。青い皮膚と赤い血肉のコンビネーションがとても印象的です。 金色の鱗は最初見た時はうわぁ〜こりゃ安直だなぁと思いましたが（笑）、見慣れてくると気にならないどころか、 こういう派手なところもティーンチらしくもあり、むしろジェネラルは派手さも大事だなと納得してしまいました。 そういうゴリ押し感がダニエルさんの作風というか魅力のような気もします（笑）。 ところでガルラークといえばフォージのマスターグレード版も有名ですが、僕がガルラークを作るなら絶対フォージ版って思い込んでましたが、 このモデルを見せ付けられて思いのほか気にいったので、サイズも手ごろなこっちを作りたいと思いなおしました（笑）。
