Throgg, King of Trolls by Daniel

ダニエルさんのコメント You may be asking yourself, "What is that big, ugly, troll creature?" Well, it`s Throgg the Troll King from the Warriors of Chaos armies book. He is the leader of my Trolls of Chaos army (even though he is just a Hero level character) and he is probably one of the most useful characters in the game. He acts as a general, battle standard bearer, and "unlocks" Trolls in your army to be allowed as Core Units. He`s not too bad in combat either (his "Super-Puke Attack" is great for tearing-up knights and other heavily armored foes). And his best point is his low cost which allows me to chose some other bigger "monster" as my actual general (daemon prince, Galrauch, Valkia, Kholek, etc.). I used the War Troll miniature from Rackham as the basis for this model, but obviously I heavily converted it too (especially the ass and back legs). I chose this model because it is noticeably larger tha the GW Chaos Troll miniatures and stronger-looking (Throgg has a better Strength and Toughness than an average Troll). I painted him blue to match the rest of my army, but his armor and weapons are better looking than the average Troll, reflecting his status as king of Trolls. He is also modelled on a magnetic base and positioned so that he can fit in a unit of Trolls. Rmanのコメント ダニエルさんのケイオストロール王スロッグはラッカム社の絶版モデル「ウォートロール」です。 世の中のウォーハンマラーがどうやってスロッグを作ろうかと日夜悩み考えている中、 こういう風に他社のモデルをスパっと出してくるダニエルさん。この潔さをむしろ僕は賞賛したいところです。 悩みに悩んで結局作れないっていうよりは多少安易でも（笑）、きっちりペイントして仕上げてくる方が、対戦相手としては嬉しいですよね。 そんなわけで、このスロッグ王は本来のイラストや設定とは全く関係なく、 ダニエルさんの持論「要はデカくて偉そうだったら良いのだ」という理由でチョイスされていますが、 僕はこれを見て他のケイオストロールともしっかり差別化できてるし、いいんじゃないかな〜と思いました。 でもまぁ、他社モデルを使うことに関する賛否を今更語るのもヤボでしたね（笑）。 さてさて、モデルについてですが格好良いのは間違い無いところですね〜。 ペイントも青色の肌が鮮やかですし、そんな中、真っ赤に燃え盛る目も恐ろしさを強調しています。 ダニエルさんのコメントにある背面についての写真が無くて残念！ それにしても、この両手に装備した手甲刀が大迫力。このトロールが只者ではなく、知性ある存在であることも感じさせてくれます。 それにどことなく、いわゆる「愛嬌のある顔つき」だと思いませんか。 スロッグ王のミニチュアがもし発売されれば間違いなく醜悪な表情をした化け物が出てくるかと思いますが、 コイツはちょっと可愛いらしいところが良いな〜と思います。ダニエルさんのお気に入り度はかなり高そうです。 もちろん、対戦相手的にはこれ以上なく憎らしい存在ではあるのですが（笑）。
